Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Title: RN - ICU Facility: Lower Keys Medical Center Shift: 19:00-07:00 (Nights) Start Date: 05/01/2026 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Certifications and Licenses (Required): Valid RN License in the state of Florida or current state license eligible for multi-state endorsement ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification BLS (Basic Life Support) certification NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification Description: Join our team as a Travel ICU Registered Nurse at Lower Keys Medical Center, starting as soon as possible. This 13-week assignment offers an excellent opportunity to advance your critical care experience while exploring the scenic Lower Keys. Enjoy a night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with competitive pay of $72 per hour. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, compassionate care to ICU patients with diverse and complex medical needs. Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition. Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Adhere to hospital policies and compliance standards, including AHCA requirements for Florida placements. What You Bring: Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience in a fast-paced hospital environment. Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to quickly adapt to new settings and protocols. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Preferred Education & Experience: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred. Prior travel nursing experience highly desirable. Experience working in a variety of ICU settings, including trauma, cardiac, or neuro-critical care. Additional Requirements & Notes: Interested candidates must have secured housing within 50 miles of the facility before acceptance and provide the address. Must have reviewed potential housing costs with the traveler prior to submission. Previous experience working in Florida or within a similar regulatory environment is advantageous.
